ABOUT.
Since beginning my studies at the University of Waterloo School of Architecture, I have come to understand architectural design as a process grounded in extensive research, thoughtful site analysis, and interdisciplinary collaboration. With each project, I strive to interpret the social, cultural, and physical demands of their occupants to inform spatial solutions. I am especially interested in developing intersectional approaches to barrier-free design and integrating accessibility into broader architectural narratives.
That being said, I believe it impossible to devise universally inclusive spaces when our research and existing resources fail to capture the lived experiences unique to each individual. Through the elimination of highly prescriptive and rigid programming, and by representing my work with clear and concise graphics, I leave the viewer to interpret how they might interact with the built environments I propose.
