Designed to express a weightlessness to the object, this model stand is comprised of 5 friction-fit components CNC-milled through 2 1/2 axis profiling, and stained to enhance the grain texture and emphasize the exposed joinery.

This lookout tower incorporates a sequence of square, circular, and triangular extrusions and voids to produce dynamic spatial moments throughout the spiraling ascent. These forms adhere to a semi-expressed grid that selectively frames the lookout platforms while providing a threshold between gathering spaces and the primary circulation route.
